Baptism:
Parents wishing to have their child baptized phone the office and
make an appointment with Sheri McNeil.
They will meet with Sheri and
discuss the process that leads to baptism. Every second month a
pre-baptism class is held for the purpose of updating the parents in
their knowledge and understanding of the theology of baptism. Once
the parents have attended this class they have several choices
regarding the baptism of their child. The baptism may take place at
any Sunday Eucharist or at 1.30 p.m. on the First Sunday of any
month. It is always a joyful occasion when families gather with a
child to celebrate the child’s initiation into the faith community.
