Marriage Preparation:
Couples planning to be married at St. Alphonsus should contact the parish six months before the wedding date. An appointment will be made with the couple to reserve the church and assist in the preparations. A pre-marriage course is required. The format is one weekend- a Friday Evening and Saturday until 7:30 PM. The focus is on communication skills, better self-understanding, conflict resolution and the spiritual dimension of the sacrament. Four couples and a priest co-ordinate the weekend.
