Gospel Reflection Group: After the 8.00 a.m. mass on Thursday mornings people present gather in the choir room to read, reflect on and share their thoughts about the scripture readings for the following Sunday. Everyone welcome. Meditation: Leader: Gerry O’Neill 743-0964 The practice of meditation by way of centering prayer is offered every Thursday afternoon at 2.00 p.m. in the choir room. This prayer calls us into stillness and silence. Scripture reads: “Be still and know that I am God”. We can learn to be silent and to meditate and experience God’s indwelling presence. It is recommended that meditation be done for twenty minutes twice a day. There is no need to pre-register…you are invited to attend.
Adoration: Isabel: 741-2085 Bernadette: 742 3055 A few years ago an Oratory was constructed. The Blessed Sacrament is shown in the monstrance. Presently the Oratory is open from 7.00 a.m. until midnight every day of the year. There is an open invitation for anyone to come and spend an hour in quiet prayer and adoration.
